Welcome to our mountain and New River log cabin retreat web site!
Our brand new mountain log and stone cabin sits high on a mountain with long range scenic
mountain views in a PRIVATE setting on over an acre. Our charming log cabin is in a community
of new log cabins called Green Meadows which is on the New River in the Blue Ridge Mountains, part of the Appalachians.
Our 3-story mountain log cabin rental has 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a great
room with 22' soaring ceiling, massive stone fireplace, premium kitchen and dining area. The king master
bedroom and bathroom is on the top floor. The fireplace can be seen from the overlook from the top floor.
There are two bedrooms with a full bathroom on the main floor. The lower level has a game
room with a new full sized POOL TABLE and television/vcr/cd/dvd entertainment center with DirecTV satellite system.
There are french doors to outdoors and a full bathroom.
View a fabulous mountain panorama from a rocking chair on the huge 30'
covered rear porch and feel and hear the peace and serenity of being a part of nature. There is a stream that runs
down our property and you can hear the water lapping over the rocks.
Wood floors, wood walls, tile countertops, six casablanca fans, CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING and
a mountain decor will set the stage for your tranquil getaway at our brand new mountain and river log cabin located
in historic Todd, North Carolina just 15 minutes to Boone, 20 minutes to Appalachian State University, 25 minutes to
Blowing Rock and the Appalachian Ski Resort, 35 minutes to Banner Elk, Sugar and Beech Mountains. Grandfather Mountain
and Tweetsie Railroad are about 30 minutes from the cabin and Wilkesboro, site of the annual internationally
renowned Merlefest 4-day festival held in April is about 30 minutes from Alpenstar.

Our mountain log cabin is located 8 miles from the scenic Blue
Ridge Parkway. The Parkway has the most stunning
long range mountain views imaginable. There are countless picnic sites, overlooks, lakes with boating and fishing
along this gorgeous unspoiled parkway built many decades ago.

For the golf enthusiasts, there are a number of daily rate public and semi-private
courses. West Jefferson Country Club and Boone Country Club are 30 minutes from the cabin and the Mountainaire
Golf Course is about 15 minutes.
